13 EVEN stuff
Grab your earplugs because 13EVEN is bringing the NOISE! Philadelphia's, premiere aggressive rock band offers some of the most exciting musicianship to come out of the City of Brotherly Love in a long time.

13EVEN consists of five musicians who have become masters beyond their own imaginations. They consist of guitarist, John Bozzuto, drummer and background vocalist Greg Thompson, Aaron Huntsberry, on bass, Jack Wood, guitar, and lead vocalist and lyricist, Kevin Healey. Their sound is a melodic, aggressive groove, packed full of energy with hints of influence from Incubus, Slayer, Dream Theater, and Faith No More. However, the sound and stage show they deliver is uniquely 13EVEN!

13EVEN brings a resurgence of lyrical content and artistic expression back into aggressive rock. WPLY-Philadelphia Program Director Jim McGuinn agrees, "13EVEN is one of the most promising hard rock bands to come out of Philadelphia in a long time. Great musicians, great songs!" WPLY Music Director Dan Fein regularly rotates the band on the air and at the station's live local night. 13EVEN has also been heard at WYSP in Philadelphia. The top rated rock station remains in strong support of the band. Along with airplay on WYSP, they've been regularly featured guest and were named WYSP Local Rock Stars of the Month for November/December 2002. In addition to on air interviews, 13EVEN performed a live concert on air at the station. "I think rock has finally caught up to where 13EVEN has been for a while now. Great songs and they can play them live. I think they'll be one of the next bands to make it out of Philly," adds WYSP's Spike.

The radio picture got even brighter when Philadelphia station WMMR's morning show held a contest looking for Philly's Rock Idol which 13EVEN won hands down! Embraced by the station's staff, 13EVEN performed live on the morning show prior to opening for Live at WMMR's Spring Break 2003 to 5000 fans. WMMR's Anthony Scalfaro stated, "13EVEN has a serious amount of talent...we really want to see these guys succeed!"

Seeing 13EVEN live is the most exciting thing about them! They recently performed with such national acts as Marilyn Manson, Live, Hoobastank, Adema, Lost Prophets, GodHead, Dry Kill Logic, Slaves on Dope, Unloco, 36CrazyFist, Sinch, Darwin's Waiting Room, Stage, Tapping the Vein, Simon Says, Isle of Q, and Kings X as well as headlining shows in Philly, Lehigh Valley, New York, and Baltimore rock clubs.

Several sponsors have aligned themselves with 13EVEN including LINE 6, RawkWear and California based extreme sports company SPLIT.

Aside from performing at clubs, rock venues, and arenas, 13EVEN has used their talents to raise money for worthwhile causes. The band has played benefits to help raise funds and awareness for AIDS Walk, Special Olympics, and Habitat For Humanity.

A brash head-banging band clearly with a commercial appeal, 13EVEN comes equipped with a melodic mesh of thought-provoking lyrics, amplified virtuoso music, and a powerful stage performance.
